I came across several of these single-eye quotations while researching the "One-Eyed Man Is King" proverb. Subtitles for this page: literary luscus, tuerto truisms, borgne bon mots, purblind proverbs, monops meditations, monophthalmic mottoes.
Tut, tut, here is a mannerly forbearance:
